American paintings-Estimated at $ 200,000 - 300,000,

MILFORD, CT. - Major American paintings from the 19th century up to and including the contemporary era are covered during Shannon’s biennial American and European art auction, scheduled for Thursday, April 26, online and in the Milford Gallery, starting at 6:00 PM Eastern time. Looking at art can make a person as happy as staring a loved one in the eye, according to a British study. Perhaps that is also a good argument in the Netherlands against spending cuts on culture.
